I love Adam and his taste and PH - but am also insulted and offended and disappointed that there are no women writers in the upcoming season. Did Adam share an explanation? A justification?
I would say, apart from the obvious intermittent Googling, follow The Lilly’s and Julia Jordan and maybe also Lisa Kron? I don’t know if there will be a response, honestly, but I’m glad we were heard.
well i personally would not have received any response, im just an individual who attended this meeting. i am not any of the people that any of the other people would be in
communication with. i’m literally just sharing Theresa’s excellent statement.
There were no responses, really, during the event. It was not a presentation, it was not a discussion, it was a Town Hall — a chance to air grievances and be heard. Adam did speak to one or points but for the most part, I think he was listening. In my humble opinion, the fact that it happened, it sold out (people were turned away because of seating capacity) and we’re talking and writing about it is a good message to Artistic Directors. If you program a season that excludes 51% of the population, there will be pushback.

This is incredible. Thank you for being there and sharing it.
I also appreciate this report, but like Lizzie Simon, am curious if you received any response, satisfying or not, from Adam or anyone else.
Thanks for sharing. How can we discover their response—any ideas?

Agree! It is excellent! I meant in person, during this discussion. Or perhaps it was more of a presentation than a discussion...?
